Finance Minister AMA Muhith said donors` proposal of loan at high rate interest for Development and Technical assistance will not be accepted.
He said Bangladesh`s economy is progressing fast. Different organisations of development partners want to set the high rate of interest as our country entered into the list of lower-middle-income countries. But it`s not acceptable.
It is true that Bangladesh will enter into the list of middle-income countries by 2021. And for this, we have to pay high interest from now, it will not be accepted, Muhith added.
The Finance Minster said this in a meeting at NEC auditorium in the capital`s Sher-e-Banglanagar on Wednesday morning.
